It has been a dream of Acceleration Australia's to start a scholarship program to allow athletes the chance to train with us who wouldn't normally have the opportunity - for an entire year! We have helped 1,000's of young athletes reach their sporting goals through our proven results-based programs. You can have the opportunity to partake in the most up-to-date performance training that will be catered to your sport and your individual needs.
Thanks to our sponsors, we are able to offer Ten (10) Sports Performance Training Scholarships to athletes all around Australia. Last year we gave away only 6 scholarships. Hopefully next year, we can get up to 12!
For 5 Brisbane/Gold Coast athletes, the scholarship includes 1 year's worth of training. That means you will get 96 one hour training sessions. These sessions involve everything you'll need to become the athlete of your dreams - speed, agility, power, strength, and flexibility training. Plus, this includes 3 testing sessions which monitor your progress and provide feedback for you, your coach, & everyone involved! This package is valued at $3,552.00 and it is yours for FREE if you win a training scholarship.
For athletes outside South-East Queensland, there are 5 Online Program Scholarships. Each recipient will receive 11 four-week programs based on a 2 days per week routine. This may also include several education sessions which means a coach will personally run you through the programs face-to-face (Depending on travel). You will gain a lot from our online programs because each program includes videos, written descriptions and coaching cues for each exercise and drill. Your program will also be fully customised to your needs and to ensure it is a success you will have regular contact with one of our performance coaches via email and phone. These three programs are valued at $889.00 each.
The results you can attain from our programs are amazing. Be sure to indicate on the application form which type of scholarship you are applying for. These scholarships are awarded based on your sporting dreams and ambitions as well as your financial need. All information we receive will be kept confidential. Entries close 9am November 1st, 2008.

Once you have submitted you application, you will be sent an email letting you know that we have recieved it. Once we have collected all of the applications, we will choose a selection of people and contact them to organise an interview. The winners will be notified and invited to an Acceleration Australia Awards Day on the 29th of November, 2008. Your training will commence early 2009!

2007 Got Dreams Scholarship Winners!
 | Thomas Barton I would not have been able to get to where I am now without the help of Acceleration and ‘The Got Dreams Scholarship’. I initially applied to Acceleration in the hope I would improve my speed and agility with the aim of competing in the World Titles for Lifesaving in the future and making the Australian Team for Touch Football. I have since competed in the Australian Lifesaving Titles finishing fifth in the under nineteen male beach sprint and I have achieved my goal of making the Australian mixed touch football team. I have no doubt that without the dedication and commitment of the Acceleration Team I would not have achieved ‘My Dream’. Like Ian I hope to stay involved with Acceleration as either an athlete or a trainer as I have made many new friends and the style of coaching is much more innovative and thorough than anything I could have imagined or have been associated with.
